This document is written to be read, not skimmed for loopholes. If you use BetrMind, here is what actually happens to information — in plain language, without pretending that “data” is an abstract cloud. Your thoughts stay yours; we do not run a social network and we do not collect personal dossiers about you.
1. Who we are
BetrMind is developed by New Trend Technology. For questions about this policy, use the contact details on our Contacts page.
2. What we deliberately do not do
- We do not facilitate user-to-user data sharing. Nothing in the app is built to let strangers exchange profiles, messages, or files with each other.
- We do not ask you to hand over a catalogue of personal identifiers for profiling. There is no business model here that depends on selling who you are.
- We do not treat your inner monologue as advertising fuel. The point of BetrMind is room to think — not a billboard.
3. What may still exist: a small technical footprint
Software needs something to recognize a device or a session. Where required, we may rely on a pseudonymous or device-level identifier — enough for the app to function, analytics in aggregate form, and (if you opt in) notifications. That is not the same as collecting your name, postal address, or contact list for its own sake.
5. AI-Assisted Responses (OpenAI)
This app uses OpenAI, a third-party AI service, to generate responses based on user input.
When you use AI features, the following data may be transmitted to OpenAI:
- Text you enter
- Voice input after it is converted to text
This data is transmitted securely and used solely to generate responses within the app. We do not use this data for advertising purposes and do not sell it to third parties.
By using these features, you consent to the processing of your data by OpenAI for this purpose.
6. Analytics (Singular)
We use Singular to understand how the product is used in aggregate — for example, whether a flow is confusing or whether an update stabilizes crashes. The aim is product quality, not a ledger of your private life. Where Singular operates with identifiers, those are used in line with its role as an analytics provider and our goal of keeping personal data collection minimal.
7. Push notifications (OneSignal)
If you enable notifications, OneSignal may be used to deliver them. That typically involves a push token or similar token tied to your installation so a message can reach the right device — not so that users can message each other through us.
8. Storage, retention, and your device
Parts of your in-app history may be stored to give continuity — so you can see how your thinking developed. You should treat the device as part of your security boundary: use a passcode, keep the OS updated, and remember that anyone with full access to the unlocked phone may see what you saw in the app.
9. Children
BetrMind is not directed at children. If you believe a minor has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help where we reasonably can.
10. International users
Our developers and providers may process information in more than one country. By using the app you acknowledge that cross-border processing can occur as part of normal cloud operation.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the app or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will move when we do. Continued use after a reasonable notice period means you accept the revised version.
